As a coach, I support clients to deeply know themselves, and to make whatever changes in their lives that they feel called to make.
Coaching has been my passion for a long time. I have a Master’s Degree in Applied Coaching (and Neuro-Linguistics) from the University of Derby, UK; am accredited by the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Member; and am also a Crisis Counsellor who is trained in Suicide Prevention.
I tend to work with senior leaders and influencers who are interested in digging deeply into their own beliefs, to affect positive and worthwhile change in their lives. This is usually through their leadership, community work and projects on a big scale. People tend to work with me when they are transitioning (personally and professionally) and need to spend time untangling their immense thoughts and feelings so far with an unbiased person.
My style varies depending on the client and the brief, but it is always deep work. My job as a coach is to notice patterns, beliefs and deep truths that are no longer working (but once did). Together we find new updated beliefs and internal strategies to cement and enable a springboard for future progress and growth.
I love working with people who inspire me, too. I whole-heartedly believe that we co-create the space together. Personally, I admire those who question, challenge and are willing to have gritty discussions and open up to the unknown so we can progress to the outcome desired.
My role as coach is a serious one where I also commit to a person’s life and journey with them through some of the deepest thoughts they are likely to have. It is a true honour.
“Suzanne is exceptional in what she does. I have used Suzanne as a personal coach and she has helped me enormously. Suzanne has also coached some of our people and I have no hesitation in recommending her.”
John Poulsen, Former Managing Director & Board Member: Squire Patton Boggs
“Suzanne has been instrumental in guiding me through a difficult career transition in a way that is positive and graceful. She has also been incredibly effective at supporting the growth of my business. Working with her has been transformative both personally and professionally, and thanks to her I have grown in both areas in leaps and bounds, and in a very short time. Suzanne is also one of the most kind and generous people that I've ever met. I can't say it enough -- thank you Suzanne!”
Dr Kate Raynes-Goldie, Designer, Researcher & Futurist
“As a leader of leaders, I have had the pleasure of hiring Suzanne as both a Coach and Facilitator for my teams on more than one occasion over the past four years. In all engagements her professionalism, enthusiasm, ability to connect with people and absolute passion for her craft has been extraordinary. There are not many people who truly put their heart and soul into everything they do, but Suzanne is one of the rare few.”
Grant Yonge, Executive Manager, Strategy Governance and Administration at YMCA
“Working with Suzanne was the best decision I have made in my adult life! Even though I was not clear on “what” needed to change – I know I was fed up with repeating the same patterns that were making up my life. Each session was challenging & taught me to grow in ways I did not know were possible. Personal growth can be painful – but I was so beautifully held and supported by Suzanne each & every time. I would recommend her to anyone who wants more out of life – even if you don’t know what that more is – Suzanne will coax it out of you & help you shine in so many ways.”
Anon, Senior Leader
“There are moments in life that are especially precious. Meeting Suzanne was my moment. I had the most wonderful opportunity earlier this year to travel from Australia to speak in Los Angeles. Suzanne provided me with fresh encouragement, guidance and warmly welcomed critique on the intricate detail of my keynote. The new pair of eyes; free-flowing reassurances and the biggest bag full of subtle tips and suggestions from Suzanne not only provided me with a renewed perspective and personal belief, but also a great turning point in my speaking career. But it doesn’t stop here. Suzanne also travelled to LA with me, personally introduced me to the stage and sat in the front row of my keynote! We then sat together afterwards and reviewed the whole thing, step by step; piece by piece; with yet more tips and feedback. Suzanne is a delight. Her positivity and enthusiasm for her area of complete expertise is seriously infectious! I am so very humbled by what has been quite a life-changing experience.”
